Real Madrid and Manchester City draw in a six-goal game

An electrifying match from start to finish!

The clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City was exciting and full of twists and turns at the Santiago Bernabéu this Tuesday, ending in a 3-3 draw. Bernardo Silva opened the scoring with a free kick in the first minute. Real Madrid managed to turn things around in the first half, with goals from Rúben Dias (own goal) and Rodrygo. Midway through the second half, Foden and Gvardiol scored for City, but Valverde equalized the score again with a beautiful goal in the 32nd minute. The Champions League quarter-final clash ended in a draw, leaving everything open for the next game.

Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. stood out once again against English teams in the Champions League. Rodrygo scored his sixth goal in the round of 16 of the competition, three of them against Manchester City, while Vinicius Junior contributed two assists, totaling 16 games against teams in England.

Manchester City missed De Bruyne, who had to be excluded at the last minute due to health problems, damaging Guardiola’s team. Foden, who scored a fine goal, ended up injured in the second half, raising concerns about his availability for the next match.

The return game between Manchester City and Real Madrid is scheduled for next Wednesday, April 17, at the Etihad stadium, in Manchester.
